Who is the legal next of kin (NOK)?

Do they live in your jurisdiction, or is a remote notification needed by another agency? If so, who is the agency and are they trained to provide trauma notifications? 

Is there a specific legal hierarchy of NOK in your jurisdiction? This can be difficult to define based on the community you are working in.
