First LEOKA Installment of Year Released

On May 6, the FBI released the first installment of the annual publication Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted (LEOKA), 2018.
In 2019, the LEOKA publication will be delivered in two installments. The first installment includes data and statistics concerning officers feloniously and accidentally killed and statistics about federal officers killed and/or assaulted. The second installment of the publication, which presents data reported to the FBI concerning law enforcement officers assaulted in the line of duty in 2018, will be available this fall.
